The world globalization has caused or forced the society to partially ignore the animals especially cats and dogs. The animals, cats and dogs have less attention from the society and thus leaving them in a miserable situation that they have to face themselves.

People often blame them for being dirty, mischievious, wandering around and having diseases especially "kurap" because they are all alone and had to fight to survive.

Here in Malacca, the ONLY home for these animals always been a big hope to them. The non-profit organization animal shelter center, known as SPCA ( Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals ) is the only animal shelter for animals and has helped this cats and dogs alot by providing them home, food, water and most important care. They been functioning for almost 20 years. Not even a chance to breathe out relief, another major crisis has landed the SPCA Malacca.

Last 3 days ago, the vice president of SPCA Malacca called me and told me about this crisis and they urgently need help from the public. They are having money crisis and they really need some fund to continue the good deeds. Estimated the center can only last till the END of this December 2011. Yes, just another one month plus only for them to hold the center. And WAIT, how about those dogs and cats in that center? Hundreds of cats and dogs are living in that center. Alot of them waiting to be love and needed freedom. Seriously, i been there quite sometimes and i can see that there is still the same dogs from last year living there in the same cage today. How horrible can it be right? Poor little doggy.

Now, i wish that there is still people out there that have a kind heart that can help these god's creatures by donation and ADOPTION. It rather hard for us to get donation but as long we love them, we'll do it. For now, we can only receive the donation by cheque.

To donate by cheque, you can pay to SPCA MELAKA and then the amount.

Please do spread around.

Meanwhile, the dogs is staying in a very small cage as you can see from the picture and video above and it can be very cruel for the dogs because they doesnt have any freedom to even walk around.
So the committees decided to let them off to the field beside the center for them to play and run around during the day and keep them into the cage during the dusk. But there is another problem in to this matter. The cage has been very old and rusty. The cage will just break easily when being held up or even move it. The SPCA has do the calculations. They needs 35 new cages to replace the old rusty one so that the cage wont break up and the dogs can have a better cage. As you can see, they are short of funds and are really worried about the funding due to the money crisis they having now. Again, with all my heart, i wish any of kind hearted people out there willing to donate the cages or donate money to the center. After all the negotiation, 1 of the pet shop owner decided to sell them minimum RM250 per cage. 250x35 = 8750. Total is RM8750. It a quite high amount for the center to support that costs. So i wish any of you can help them and the dogs.

For donation, it the same as above. Only can pay through cheque by now.
